* If your account balance at the end of the financial year is less than $6,000, the total combined amount of administration fees, investment fees and indirect costs that were charged to your account during the year (and not rebated) will be capped at 3% of your account balance, and any amount charged in excess of that amount will be refunded to your account.
You may see fees and costs deducted and then rebated to your account when viewing your transactions. This is how we discount your fees. Fees will be rebated to your account on a monthly basis, based on your balance at the end of the month.
For more information about our fees and to read about the other fees and costs that can apply see Section 6 Fees and Costs in our PDS.

How do we compare?

Even without discounts, Professional Super’s growth investment options are cheaper than many of the largest High Growth funds.
We used data from Stockspot’s independent report to compare Professional Super's Growth option to other High Growth funds. We compared our fees against the ‘Top 10’ and ‘Bottom 10’ high growth funds, as per their Fat Cat report.

Professional Super comes out on top

Stockspot is one of Australia’s most experienced online investment advisers. The Fat Cats report (2018) is an independent comparison of Australia’s largest superannuation funds. The report rates funds based on how they have performed after fees over five years - the top 10 are the best performers in their category and the bottom 10 are the worst performers. Fees are compared on a $50,000 balance. Professional Super's High Growth and Growth options have comparable asset allocations to the High Growth fund category, as they have a strategic asset allocation of 10% cash and bonds. The Fat Cat report considers High Growth funds to have an allocation of 0-20% to cash and bonds.
